Deltron’s New SlimLine Power Supplies Pack Big Performance Into a Small Space

Our SlimLine Series consists of several recently introduced lines of super slender, hot swap single output switchers that fit a wide range of industrial, telecom, and computer networking applications. Only 1U high, these units can be paralleled for additional power or used in combination with other models to meet multiple output requirements.

The SlimLine2 Series encompasses Deltron’s lines of slim 2U hot swap single output switchers designed to satisfy the high power requirements of systems that range from heavy duty industrial applications to fault tolerant front-end networking and computing applications. These power supplies can also be paralleled for additional power or combined with other models for systems with multiple output requirements. In addition, SlimLine2 units are available with optional field terminations for interfacing units into embedded systems via studs and screw terminals. The 48VDC models offer a high-density front-end solution for powering Intermediate Bus Converters (IBCs).

The SlimLine3 Series is Deltron’s newest series of space-conscious 3U AC front-end power modules. These high-density power supplies are ideal for telecom, datacom, intermediate bus architectures and factorized bus applications. SlimLine3 units operate either single-phase or three-phase, with output connections via phosphor bronze studs.

SlimLine, SlimLine2, and SlimLine3 units meet applicable NEBS standards, and feature proven topologies coupled with excellent thermal management to achieve outstanding performance and safety. All models are available with redundancy option for parallel or N+1 applications.

All of Deltron’s SlimLine, SlimLine2 and SlimLine3 Series can be rack-mounted for paralleling or N+1 redundant systems. All racks accept either EIA or Bellcore NEBS mounting. The SlimLine L Series and
DL Series RA20A racking systems accommodate up to 6 power supplies, providing up to 1500 watts. The LE Series RA30A racking system can accommodate 6 LE Series power supplies, for up to 1800 watts. The LA Series RA60A rack holds up to 4 LA Series supplies, providing up to 2800 watts. The LC Series has 2 rack options, the RA60A and R60B, both racks hold up to 4 supplies, providing up to 4000 watts. The E Series RA70A rack accommodates up to 3 E Series units, for up to 1800 watts.

SlimLine2’s LD Series offers 2 rack options, the RA120A and RA120B, both of which accommodate up to 4 units, for a total output of 8 kW. SlimLine3’s LJ Series RA300B rack holds up to 4 modules, providing a total output of 12 kW.

 

L Series supplies provide up to 250 watts in a space-conscious package measuring 1.58” H x 1.86”W x 11.32” L. Units are self-cooled and feature DC Good logic signal for monitoring power supply status. There are 14 models to choose from. The DL Series is a DC input version of the L Series.

LE Series supplies are rated up to 400 watts, with each unit measuring 1.58”H x 2.10”W x 11.35”L. Also self-cooled, LE units feature DC Good logic signal for monitoring power supply status. There are 10 models to choose from.

LA Series supplies are rated up to 700 watts, with each uniquely-packaged unit measuring 1.58”H x 3.35”W x 11.15”L. Power Fail and DC Good features provide logic signal for monitoring power supply status. A fan cover option is available.

LC Series units are rated up to 1000 watts and measure only 1.58”H x 3.35”W x 11.15”L. Power Fail, DC Good, Hi Temp and Fan Fail features provide logic signal for monitoring power supply status. IEEE 802.3at compliance option provides Power over Ethernet (POE) compatibility. There are 4 models available.

The E Series is our newest SlimLine series of extra-economy 1U multiple output modular power supplies. Rated at 600 watts, E Series modules provide outstanding package density at a very competitive price.

 

The LD Series is rated up to 2000 watts. Each module measures 3.16”H x 3.48”W x 12.93”L. Two different interfaces are available to facilitate system integration. Power Fail, DC Good, Hi Temp, and Fan Fail features provide logic signal for monitoring power supply status. Units include integral cooling fan. IEEE 802.3at compliance option provides Power over Ethernet (POE) compatibility. 48VDC models are ideal for powering Intermediate Bus Converters.

 

LJ Series 3U front-end power modules are rated up to 3000 watts, and provide a high density of 17W/in3. Available in output voltages of 24, 28, and 48, these supplies are ideal for telecom, datacom, intermediate bus architectures and factorized bus applications. LJ modules operate with input voltages of 180 VAC to 264 VAC, either single-phase or three-phase. Output connections are via phosphor bronze studs.
